One interesting example of learning by experiencing.. These tiny tots of Iris Florets, Hyderabad participated in ‘Rythu Bazar’ or Farmer’s market, dressed up as farmers themselves. The school is trying to make learning about different fruits, vegetables and farmers more interactive. They sold various vegetables and fruits to their parents and teachers and managed to raise some funds which they contributed to Goonj!

What if all our urban schools could make education about the other India a mandatory part of their curriculum. It would certainly help build more empathy and awareness about the issues of this country. It would certainly lead to more mindful giving..
