Happening this Sunday 🙂

We are bringing Chaupal to Jalandhar 🙂
Sips of chai. Hot pakodis. Spicy chutney. Laughter, music, stories and people meeting people, heart to heart.
That’s the flavour of Chaupal. Come as you are, bring a friend, and spend a meaningful Sunday together. ❤️

As a new academic year begins, homes across the country sort through school bags and shelves — notebooks with blank pages, uniforms neatly folded, bags and shoes still full of value. Through Khushiyon Ka Recycle we invite families, schools, and communities across India to thoughtfully pass on pre-loved school essentials and turn this annual ritual into a real lesson in sustainability. This is a Goonj.. it! drive — not Charity, but Shared Responsibility.
Materials are carefully sorted at Goonj Centers for Circularity and channelised to rural communities, where children continue learning with dignity while communities strengthen their own school spaces. Let sustainability be lived, not just learned.
‘Not Every Garment Belongs in Your Wardrobe. Some Deserve a Second Life.’

By now, many of us have packed away our woolens—sweaters, shawls, and blankets folded into cupboards and trunks, waiting for the next winter.
But before you close that cupboard, pause. Open it once more.
Ask yourself: why should these clothes stay there for another year?
For many, the cold is not just a season—it is a silent hardship. What rests quietly in our cupboards could mean warmth, dignity, and relief for someone else.
Before you shut that door, take a second look. Let warmth travel further than your home.
Goonj..it! Don’t just recycle your material..

Some Sundays stay with you… Sharing a few glimpses from our recent Chaupals, our annual pilgrimage to the heart of people in Mumbai and Meerut.

Stories from the Ground
Every year, as hundreds of students move to a new class, their unused school materials become an opportunity, not just for another student but also for teaching them empathy, care, and sustainable living. These stories reveal the powerful learning possibilities for students, parents, and schools from their contribution journey—learnings that are real, practical, fulfilling, and sustainable.
